What is Wattson?

Wattson is Singapore's 1st wireless electricity monitor. Designed by DIY Kyoto, Wattson monitors your electricity usage and enables you to know how much electricity each appliance consumes. Not only will you be able to save money by reducing your electricity bill, you can also do your part for the environment through energy conservation.

Together with Holmes, a PC application that lets you chart your historical electricity usage so that you understand your usage patterns, Wattson helps you look at energy saving possibilities.

By understanding how much electricity the appliances in your home consume, we hope that you will be able to change your usage habits and conserve electricity, leading to a potential reduction in your monthly electricity bills.

Why Wattson

Wattson is really simple to set-up and use. It shows you how much electricity each electrical appliance uses when you switch them on and off. The large display on the Wattson works in all light conditions and shows your home's electricity usage in Watts (W) or Cost ($).

Wattson is portable and wireless, so you can take it anywhere in your home. Wattson even shows the level of your electricity usage in 3 different colours with a mood light that glows from blue to purple to red depending on how much electricity your home is using.

Wattson's smart, cool and contemporary design makes it a talking piece in your home. Wattson is completely recyclable and has won numerous design and environmental awards.

Wattson stores up to 28 days of electricity usage in its internal memory and when used with Holmes, gives you access to daily, weekly and monthly readings of your home's historical electricity usage.

Wattson also measures electricity generated from renewable energy sources such as solar panels or wind turbines by fitting an additional sensor.

Wattson can be used in HDB Flats, private apartments and condominiums, landed properties and even small businesses that have a 3 phase electricity supply. Wattson will also be available in the future, for offices, commercial and industrial buildings.
